PSM Motorsport Ltd, would
like to welcome you to the 2009 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship,
which takes place over eight rounds, concluding with the standalone
2009 Get Connected! SG Petch Rallycross Superprix at Croft Circuit on
Sunday November 1st.
There are 10 categories
within the Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship, which are
as follows:
- Division 1/1S
- Division 1A
- Super National (with an 800kg weight limit, including driver)
- Procar 2000
- Procar 1600
- Junior Rallycross
- Revivals A, B, C, D and E
- Minicross
- BMW Rear Wheel Drive Challenge
- RX150 Racing
The Procar 2000 category
(For 2 litre multivalve cars) has already proven to be a big hit with
drivers in 2007 and 2008 with grids reaching double figures. Stuart
Emery claimed the title in 2008 with his Peugeot 306, followed by Ashley
Simpson in the PSM Motorsport Renault Megane and 2007 champion - Dave
Baines.
The first event of the 2009
Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship season took place at Croft
Circuit on Sunday March 22nd. The opening round included the prestigious
Fuchs Lubricants 'English Rallycross Masters' title,
which was won by Mike Manning 2009, who joined the following list of
ex Champions:
2005 - Dermot Carnegie (IRE)

2006 - Jacek Ptaszek (PL) - Toyota Corolla
2007 - Tony Bell (GB) - Toyota Corolla
2008 - 'Mad Mark' (GB) - Citroen Xsara
2009 - Mike Manning (GB) - Ford Puma
